What is provided:
Table (8’ x 30”) with cloth and draping
Cost:
The cost is $40.00. Make check payable to Arizona Rosary Celebration. Your reservation will be canceled October 1st if we have not received payment.
If ANYTHING happens and you cannot come to the Rosary Celebration, please let us know as soon as possible – even if it is the day of the event (cell 602-568-7047.) There are always last minute requests for tables.
Where are the tables:
At the south end of the hall (opposite the stage)
There will be one long row of 24 tables. Nothing can be attached to the walls.
Electricity: There will be no electricity or WiFi available.
What happens upon arrival:
Set up starts at 11:00 a.m. It is best to get there by 11:00 a.m. because the main doors open at noon and all the early birds will arrive to get a good seat and to take their position in the procession. These people usually come over to the tables. There are also other people in the hall working on set up and security. It is your time for very personal ministry.
The loading docks are on the east side of the building which enters from 5th Street (one way going north). You can unload there until 11:30 a.m. Your vehicle must be parked elsewhere. Busses bringing attendees will use this area later. After the event at 4:40 p.m. (after the busses have all gone) you can again bring your vehicle to the docks for reloading.
Once you arrive in the hall, proceed to the ministry table area where you will find a table with your group’s name on it. If there is a problem finding your table or you need ANY assistance, please call John McNulty at 602-568-7047. He is usually in the ministry table area and wearing something memorable.
Selling things:
Because Arizona Rosary Celebration is a religious service we get a 40% discount on the cost of the hall; for this reason there cannot be any commercial activities. You may offer items for a donation. You can put a “suggested donation” on your items however you must be willing to accept whatever donation is offered.
Then what happens:
At 1:45 p.m. we close the table area for the program. Bring a table cover to discourage attendees from continuing to visit. This will allow the people taking care of the tables to be part of the event and will prevent a noisy distraction for participants in the Rosary Celebration.
The program ends at 4:15 p.m. We keep a strict timetable because so many attendees come on the busses and many priests need to be back in their parish for evening Mass.
At 4:15 p.m. the ministry table area will be swamped with people. This will last for about 20 minutes. It is worth your time to be ready for the crowd.
